Interpret my dream: I dreamt I wore a gold pendant.?
I dreamt I wore a gold pendant. The necklace was quite tight and I was afraid it wouldn’t sit well on my neck. The pendant part was in the shape of a horizontal key that lay across my neck when I had it on?
What meaning could there be to this?
From reading some of your other posts, I see that you are seeking for “highs” in various ways. The “highs” that come from LSD, and also legal substances are imitations of true spiritual experiences, and excite visions, openness to spiritual forces through artificial means. The dream of drinking wine in church and the various religious jewelry also is a tip to the significance of your dream.
OK… true spiritual experiences are vertical… from man to God and God to man. Or at least, we perceive God to be above us, so in our dreams (and in our waking) we often look UP to communicate with God. So… our relationship with God is vertical.
Our relationship with humans and other spiritual entities is horizontal. Humans interaction is face to face on an equal footing. Spirits other than God who might “assist” in “alternative” spiritual experiences are fallen spirits and co-exist with us on planet earth, just in another dimension, the invisible spiritual realm.
Your necklace represents something you have chosen to have some relationship with… and the key pendant is like a “religious” symbol indicating that you are trying to open the spiritual realms within yourself and around you with methods and influences other than God…. earthbound human methods, earthbound spiritual forces, and through the use of plant matter and other sources to stimulate this HORIZONTAL spiritual openness.
On the surface you may feel ok with this, but your inner spirit perceives it as uncomfortable and binding, like a tight necklace, which usually causes the charm to be off kilter and unattractive. Your inner spirit realizes it was created for God and that you are opening the door to strange spirits and experiences for which you were not created. Our inner spirit often warns us of such things in our dreams.
The experiences achieved through drugs and herbs, etc. mimic the deep spiritual experiences of mystics and prophets, who were not even seeking such experiences, but were seeking to know God and to be servants of mankind and messengers of God. They suffered much physically and emotionally, which stripped them of the spiritual blinders we wear on planet earth to protect us from over stimulation and becoming vulnerable to the negative spirits around us.
These prophets and visionaries gothrough much, and beg God’s guidance and protection to enable them to receive such experience to help them to know Him better and become more able to receive His messages of wisdom and counsel for those they serve. They are overwhelmed by these experiences and humbled by them and trembled in awe. They often find it hard to re approach normal life as we know it after these experiences . They are ALMOST convinced it was worth the suffering to have been taken into God’s confidence, but tremble at the thought of facing it again.
SO… your deepest inner self is aware that to seek such faux experiences artificially is sacrilege and also does not wish to become “naked” and vulnerable to enemy spirits by being opened up in this way. This “horizontal” way of unlocking the spirit realm is not a safe or comfortable fit for a human being. We need real experiences with God, and it’s so much better to seek to know Him through the pathways he has marked for us and leave the time and place of the mind bending times up to Him. He knows when we are ready, and if sensation seeking is our only goal, He will not take us there.
This horizontal key lay midway between your head and your heart. You are seeking “highs” for your head. The INFINITE is so much better experienced via the heart. Spiritual experiences not sanctioned by God leave a metallic taste in your mouth and a gaping emptiness in your heart… like a fork or spoon that bears no nourishment. Seek the Giver, and the spiritual nourishment you need will be provided at the speed and manner that is best suited to you.
